Client Agreements
Last updated: June 21, 2026
Every engagement is governed by a short set of written agreements signed before any work begins. This page summarizes what they cover. The executable documents are provided directly to clients and are not published here. This summary is informational; the signed documents control.
Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
A mutual NDA protects both sides. We keep your information, identity, and the existence and details of the engagement confidential; you keep our methods, materials, and pricing confidential. It defines what counts as confidential information, the permitted uses, standard exclusions (for example, information that is already public or independently developed), the duration of the obligations, and how confidential materials are returned or destroyed at the end of the engagement.
Data Protection Agreement (DPA)
The DPA governs how we handle any personal data involved in an engagement. It identifies the categories of data and the purposes of processing, sets the security measures we apply, limits processing to what the engagement requires, addresses the use of any sub-processors, and sets retention and deletion terms. It is designed to align with our Privacy Policy and with applicable data-protection law, including the GDPR and US state privacy laws where relevant.
Client Consent and Authorization
Your explicit, written authorization for the specific actions we will take on your behalf, such as submitting opt-out and removal requests to data brokers and other third parties. It defines the scope of what you authorize, confirms that the information you provide is yours and accurate, and may be required by third parties before they will act on a request made on your behalf. It does not authorize, and we will not undertake, anything unlawful.
Service Agreement
The master contract for the engagement. It sets out the scope of work, deliverables, fees and payment terms, timelines, and the responsibilities of each party. It also contains the commercial and risk terms for the engagement, including any refund or cancellation terms, warranties and disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, intellectual-property ownership of deliverables, and governing law. Where a Service Agreement conflicts with the site Terms of Service for that engagement, the Service Agreement controls.
